About me

I've enjoyed photography for many years, ever since I bought my first camera as a young boy. I love the exploration and learning that I've experienced through photography, and take particular pleasure in finding something new to share with others. My first photographic passion was landscapes. I've always been an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying camping and hiking. Capturing the beauty of the great outdoors is an elusive and challenging goal, but I enjoy it all the same. Over the years I've branched out, honing my skills and enjoying new photographic experiences. I've integrated other aspects of my life with my photography and have done more travel and portrait photography. While I am passionate about photography, I hold down a "day job" while I enjoy growing my portfolio and fine tuning my skills. I'm working toward opening a gallery at some point in the future, and until then, this website serves as my medium for sharing my work. Some of my favorites are in the Gallery, but the blog portion is where I share many of the other experiences and images along the way Many of the images on the site are available for purchase. Everything else I've moved around quite a bit over the years, but I currently call Indianapolis home. I balance my photography with an active family life, serving in my church, and enjoying hobbies like SCUBA diving and running. The most important of all of these to me is my family and my faith. They are very much intertwined, and I feel very blessed in the life I've been able to live.
